Welcome to the Creative Arts Retreat Movement website! CARM retreats are designed to combine experience of a creative art with opportunities to deepen your spiritual life. Each CARM retreat focusses on one, or occasionally two, of six creative arts: calligraphy, creative writing, creative embroidery, painting, photography or poetry. Taster Days If you are new to CARM… If you have never been to a CARM Retreat and are not sure whether it is for you, why not try a 'Taster Day'? This is a new idea from CARM and the number of 'taster days' around the country is slowly increasing. The aim of these days is to provide opportunity to spend a day experiencing what CARM offers. This year we have already had three. Watch this space for further information. If you are already a CARM member… We are always interested to know of people who would like a day like this is their area. It does not need to be at a retreat house. Get in touch if you would like to follow this up. |
Speakers We are sometimes asked for speakers who would talk about CARM to local groups. We are currently putting together a list of speakers so do get in contact if we can help in this way. NEW for 2011 A week-end on Creative Scrapbooking will take place at Holland House, Cropthorne on April 1st–3rd in 2011.
